If you are looking for a shooting game that has console-like graphics than Shadowgun should be your choice of game. Not only the graphics, the storyline is also very interesting and futuristic. You get to shoot different kinds of advanced weapons and complete a mission where you are the good guy. I mean, obviously.
If we talk about the storyline of Shadowgun then the Google Play store page of the game puts it very well. The year is 2035 and you are, John Slade the best of Shadowguns. By the way, Shadowguns are those who are the best Bounty Hunters.
And your mission is to hunt down a maniacal genius, Dr. Edgar Simon, who runs his own mutant army. You have to fight Cyborgs and Humanoids personal guards to accomplish the mission.
For the controls, Shadowgun apk has one of , if not the best controls on a smartphone game. If you want to control your movement in the game, you can do it using your left thumb. For the shooting and aiming, both are under your right thumb. The best part is that you can aim while shooting. This makes the overall experience a lot easy and intuitive.

You can only download Shadowgun game if you are using a recent smartphone that has some power under the hood. It is a very heavy game which requires powerful GPU to run.

Before downloading, you will have to figure out what type of GPU your phone has. All phones are not made equal. I dont have a hard and fast rule to tell which GPU you have but you can use apps to figure it out.

When you will open the AIDA64 app, you will see different categories. Select Display category to find out your GPU model. I have attached screenshot of my phone below.
If you look at the GPU Renderer, you will see one of the following names.

- PowerVR
- Mali
- Tegra
All you have to do is download the corresponding APK file from the links given below. The wrong APK will not work and you will waste your time as well.
How to install Shadowgun APK
- First of all, you will need to copy the APK and game data from your PC to the phone memory. You can skip this step if you downloaded the files on your phone.
- Now extract the zip file and you will find an APK file and a folder.
- All you have to do is copy the folder and paste it into this folder. /sdcard/Android/obb
- LThe last tep is to open the Shadowgun APK file and install it just like any app. Press Install and wait for it to complete. If you see a warning message saying that installation is blocked, go to Settings > Security and turn ON Unknown Source. After that, open the APK again and installation should go smooth.
- Now open the game and start playing.
